Last week was National Day, when Nuffnang Singapore first held its first community event!

The day before, Boss Ming got the whole team together and gave us all a briefing about the upcoming event.

We all got down to business and started to pack the goodie bags, with the help of Ringo!

We began forming a Nuffnang production line:

Lee Meng stuck the Nuffnang stickers on the goody bags, while Lance organised the goodies. Ringo and Suet Li rolled up the SUPER bags, which would be passed on to Samantha, Boss Ming and Boss Stewie to be packed into the paper bags along with the other goodies. Firdauz and I tied up the goody bags with strings and Arysan whisked the bags off to create more space for the production line. The two bosses supervised the little Nuffnang factory and chipped in help here and there when needed.

The goody bags when we just started:

And the goody bags when they were done!

The guys loading everything onto Boss Ming’s car:

When we reached VivoCity, we made sure that the banners and food were in place.

When were all still busy setting up the place, we were pleasantly surprised when our first blogger arrived just a little before 12 PM! The poor blogger didn’t get her name tag because the guys were still bringing things up from the car.

At 1215 PM, more people started streaming in and a queue was formed in front of the registration table.

Samantha, Suet Li and I were in charge of giving out stickers and tickets to the bloggers. Check out our Nuffnang stickers!

Now that the event is over, both Boss Ming and I had post-event blues! We moped around the office on Friday and couldn’t get much work done. Boss Ming even relieved his stress by making use of the Nuffnang stress ball – except that he didn’t squeeze it, he used it to throw at me :(

The Nuffnang team would like to thank everyone who made it down for the event. We welcome all feedback and will strive to make our next event a better one!
