Dear Nuffnanger,

In a few hours it will be the 27th of February 2009. Two years ago on that date, Ming and I were awake at 2.30AM preparing to launch the beta version of Nuffnang. It was an odd time to launch it but Ming had insisted on the timing because a fortune teller had told him it was the “most prosperous time” to launch Nuffnang.

Two years later Nuffnang has outstripped my wildest imagination, growing from an office in Penang to have regional offices in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Manila and Melbourne. The number of Nuffnangers in the region had also grown from 75 on the first day of launch to over 80,000 as of February 2009. On top of that, the amount of ad money that Nuffnang pumps into the blogosphere can no longer be described in the thousands or hundreds of thousands but instead has shot far into the millions.

The phenomenal growth story of Nuffnang is the result of lots of luck and good people. From the amazing capable people we have in the constantly growing Nuffnang Team (The Nuffies) and to the clients that put our faith in us, they have all contributed to making Nuffnang what it is today.

Last but not least to each and every Nuffnanger who has given us their support in whatever big or small way and helped bring us from a small dotcom startup to a multi-million dollar multinational all in a span of 2 years. Each and every one of you are part of the Nuffnang Story.

So today on the 2nd Anniversary of Nuffnang I want to grab this chance that I’ve got to say thank you. Thank you to those of you who have stuck with us through thick and thin. Thank you. Each and every one of you are a part of the Nuffnang Story.To a good year ahead!
