About the Social Enterprise Association

The Social Enterprise Association operates “For people, profit and planet”. Not only do they help the economy to prosper, they take into consideration the environment and people that may be left behind. These people include the ex-convicts, the disabled and delinquents.

The “I CHOO(SE)” movement is to showcase different companies that care for the planet and the people. These companies do not just sell products and services to make money, they work so that ex-offenders get a second chance in lives, the disabled get a job to stand tall and children with learning difficulties get early diagnosis and intervention via cutting edge methodologies, and many more.

The “I CHOO(SE)” movement will involve many parties including social entrepreneurs, volunteers, corporations, government, philanthropists, foundations and all partners of SE Association.

Modern Examples of Promising Social Enterprises

Print on Demand – A design and printing company that trains and employs the physically-challenged in areas pertaining to design, packaging and administration. Apart from the 2 co-founders, the company is currently employing 2 wheel-chair bound employees.

Adrenalin Events and Education – A events company that provides training and employment opportunities to youth-at-risks. Adrenalin provides them with meaningful employment and necessary skills such as deejaying, photography, videography etc. Adrenalin believes that with meaningful work available for troubled youths, they would stay out off the streets, away from trouble.

We at Nuffnang believe that one should not be treated differently due to health differences or past mistakes. As long as one has the capability to contribute back to the society in one way or another, he/she should be given a chance to.

We’ve lent our support to this noble cause, so should you!
