Many will often ask me this question.

“What does Etrangle mean?”

Frankly speaking, it does not really have a meaning. When I first decided to start a blog, my sister (my unpaid web designer at that point) asked me what name I wanted. We googled for cool names, and I happened to chance upon ‘Etrangle’ somehow somewhere.

“I want this name because it is so catchy and cool!” I insisted.

And the rest, as they say it, is history. Or herstory, in my case?

Hi! Let me introduce myself further.

My real name is Diah Mastura, but I have always preferred people calling me Diah. I don’t mind if your pronunciation is not that good and you end up calling me ‘Dear’ instead. Hehe. My late grandma (gosh I miss her so!) named me Mastura because she hoped that I would be prosperous, wealthy, and full of emas (read: yellow gold) in life. Well truth is, I prefer silver and white gold to yellow gold. Oh the irony of it all.

Only my aunties and uncles call me Mastura.
So do not call me Mastura unless you want me to call you Auntie or Uncle.

I am a proud mummy to three lovely daughters, who I will ‘collectively’ address as The Nadyas in the social media world. Why, their names are Sharleez Nadya, Mysha Nadya and Myreen Nadya. Isn’t it convenient to just call them The Nadyas? I imagined them forming their own girl band one day when I came up with this idea. HAHA.

Mysha and Myreen are fraternal twins, but they have often been mistaken as identical twins.
Why huh? I do not think they look identical at all.

Oh yeah, they DO look so alike.

But then again, people will often mistake my girls as triplets each time we go out. I just enjoy dressing them alike. Of course now that they are (slightly) bigger and think that they are really big girls, they will get to choose their own hair style, accessories, colour of clothes and shoes, for instance.

I blog at http://etrangle.net and my goodness, I have been blogging ever since I was 16! How old am I now? 33! Can you believe it? I have actually been blogging for 17 years!

Nuffnang, can you like give me the LONG SERVICE AWARD or something?

My blog basically covers topics on parenting, beauty, and family life.

I love selfies so much because I think I know best how I want myself to look in pictures. Why trouble others to take pictures of me right? But I think right, I only have my husband to blame for this growing habit of mine because well, he does not have the patience for photos. I often have to force him to like keep smiling at the camera just so
that I could get twenty shots of the same pose.

Men.. they do not understand how serious us women regard selfies.

But then again, even men love selfies nowadays. Some are more vain than women! LOL. Guess how many times I snapped the camera for this picture? JUST GUESS, PLEASE.nuff11

Nowdays, I do not get to blog as often due to my busy schedule as a mummy and businesswoman. But because I am officially a social media addict, I will flood my Instagram instead with photos of mainly errrr my selfies, my girls, and my girls. Yes my life is basically about my daughters.

I mean, just look at them. Aren’t they adorable?

Nuffnang, thank you so much for choosing me to be the blogger of the month for May! You mean I will be featured on Nuffnang for one whole month? Please do not get sick of my pictures okay?

Back to Nuffnang because I love Nuffnang so much. Thank you for having so much trust in me! When Nuffnang first approached me to join them many years ago, I could not believe it! I kept rubbing my eyes. Nuffnang is Asia Pacific’s First Blog Advertising company, you know?

Up till today, I feel so blessed to be able to be contracted under Nuffnang still. Am I born under a lucky star or what?! Being with Nuffnang has opened avenues for me to work with big organizations. The perks are amazing! Free trip to HK Disneyland for my entire family, free camera, free diapers, free air purifier, lots of food tasting sessions, and the list goes on. The best thing is, my manager really takes care of my welfare and makes sure that I am not bullied by clients! HAHA.

Here’s a picture of me with Amantha from Nuffnang and Gwen from Churp Churp!

Last but never the least, what’s my blog without my loyal blog readers? Thank you so much for loving my blog as much I love blogging for all of you! It’s almost like I am in this journey of life together with every single one of you, if truth be told.

“None of us got to where we are alone. Whether the assistance we received was obvious or subtle, acknowledging someone’s help is a big part of understanding the importance of saying thank you.”

Thank you to my fans, for inspiring me to be better. And to all my doubters, thank you very much too for pushing me to be better.
It works both ways lor! LOL
