We recently had a group of bloggers coming together with their family for the Kidz Walkz event and we all had a great time together!!

There was a huge carnival held at Playground@Big Splash in conjunction with Family Day Out and it attracted hundreds and hundreds of people. Kids were running around playing games suited for them. People were having their caricature drawn. Golf, basketball and bumper cars were some of the more popular games that attracted the young and old!

There will be the launch of “Celebrating family: 101 stories on love and inspiration” at 4.30pm for everyone attending to soak up the fun-filled family love atmosphere.

Up next would be the 1KM Kidz Walkz, which will let us everyone in Nuffnang exercise together for the FIRST TIME!

What could be better than having a movie by the beach after the whole exercise march. Catch the famous animation “Ratatouille” whilst lying down on the soft sand, munching on tibits and drinks.

There will be games and performances throughout the entire event that will tug the hearts of both young and old! (which means me, you, your parents, your grandparents, your great grandparents, okay.. you got it!)

To end of the whole event, there will be awesome FIREWORKS DISPLAY! It’s not everyday that you get to see fireworks so this is a great opportunity!

Even Speed Racer was here & both Huiwen and I had fun snatching his helmet away from him.

The Singapore Movie Fiesta will be held on 4-8 June 2008, from 10 am - 10pm, at VivoCity.

On Sunday 8 June 2008, the winner of our Superhero Blog-tastic Contest will be unveiled to the public, along with the Superhero he/she created!

Prior to that, there will be a Superhero March, where you can dress up as any Superhero you want and march along with other Superheroes. Ever thought of designing your own Superhero costume? Here’s your chance! For those Superheroes who are too busy to make your own costumes, you can always go down to the Superhero Factory (Level 1, Concourse, Vivocity) to grab your own favourite Superhero costume.

SYNOPSIS:

While struggling to restore her grandfather’s school to its former glory and spread a genuine Shaolin philosophy, Rin attends university where she becomes the star member of the lacrosse team. While Rin’s exceptional physical abilities being a string of victories to the team, her teammates in turn come to her aid by helping her reestablish the dojo. Just as fortune seems to smile upon her, a dark incident from a past Rin knew nothing about rears its ugly head and throws her into a fantastic showdown with tremendous evil. A while back, we opened up a Cost Per Click (CPC) option for bloggers with less than 20 unique visits a day (i.e, Band 0). This option was available to them on their blog manager, and allowed these bloggers to generate income with Nuffnang.

After a successful trial with this group of bloggers, the Nuffnang team has decided to open this option up to EVERYBODY! This means that you have another way of earning money! To do this, kindly go to your blog manager, and select “Show Global CPC ads”. This means that as and when we have CPC campaigns available, the ads will automatically appear. We have several CPC campaigns running this week, starting Sunday (So take advantage of this today!)

Do note that whereas Cost Per Unique Visitor (CPUV) ads do not require any user interaction for you to earn income, CPC campaigns require your readers to click on the ads before you earn money. The Singapore Movie Fiesta is a Uniquely Singapore event that celebrates Movies. This event is set to attract the largest congregation of cosplayers and movie fans across the region, and features blockbuster movie previews, movie fan activities, and for the first time ever, unique costuming arts and creative activities, such as the Singapore Superhero March, and the Singapore Superhero Factory.

The centre of all activity will be Vivocity from 4th – 8th June 2008.

In conjunction with this event, Nuffnang is organising a “Singapore Superhero” contest. Entrants will have to blog about what they think a Singapore Superhero should look like, what powers he/she will have, what he/she should embody, etc. Of course, sketches and drawings of your own Singapore superhero would be cool too!

The grand prize is a high end Acer Laptop worth $3,300, and there are prizes for merely being the FIRST 25 entriies!
